On 10th March 2015, I had the great pleasure of presenting to the Commercial Development, Concessions, Retail & Media conference at Passenger Terminal Expo 2015 at the Porte de Versailles in Paris. Passenger Terminal Expo provides a powerful international platform for the airport and airline sectors to interact and share common issues, goals and solutions about the airport industry, with a particular and unique focus on the terminal.
The conference addressed airport and airline business-critical issues and solutions, providing innovative ideas and progressive thinking for future development and proven measures for maintaining passenger custom and satisfaction - all key to the industry’s future success.
In my presentation I explained how Passenger and Airport Collaboration through Technology (PACT) can ensure both Airports and Passengers can optimise their relationship with each for their mutual benefit. The presentation covered:
- The PACT ethos
- Pros and cons of using Device Tracking
- Passenger Identity Management and its commercial and operational value
- How to achieve PACT
