HRS Discuss The Future Of Passenger ID Management In Barcelona

Our CEO and Founder, Neil Norman, was in Barcelona last week to speak at the Second Annual Airport Security Summit.

Neil presented on the subject of passenger ID management and the end to end passenger journey, a subject that is dominating discussions around terminal technology and operational efficiency in airports today.

Speaking to a group of representatives from around the world, Neil gave his take on the subject and how this can be powered through an innovative and interconnected system of technology at various stages of the passenger journey. From the moment passengers enter the airport; through to the bag drop, ticket presentation, security and boarding; advanced identity technologies can make the entire process seamless, safe and secure.

Neil drew on the experience Human Recognition Systems has in deploying these solutions in airports such as Gatwick, where the MFlow Track solution is currently used to validate passenger identities using barcode and biometric recognition. This is supported by the MFlow Journey system, which uses cameras to capture passenger facial data and record their journey time, allowing staff to quickly respond to long queues with pinpoint accuracy.
