Presentation to IFSEC
The title of my presentation (as given to me by IFSEC) was "How Biometric Technology is Changing Site Management and Safety for Critical Infrastructure in the Oil & Gas Industry". A long title, but a wide ranging topic that allowed me to cover everything from mobile mustering in remote locations to the existing disjointed approach to identity management within the Oil & Gas sector.
In my presentation I show how a combined approach to identity verification, skills certification and site access control using biometric, cloud and mobile technology can improve site safety and simplify site management for Oil & Gas companies. I outline Human Recognition Systems' unique Identity Assured Management (I AM) approach and highlight how mobile technologies can save lives and protect workers in remote locations. The presentation also features a Case Study on Shell.
