Human Recognition Systems today announced that it has received Lenel® factory certification and joined the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP).

Lenel OAAP CertificationHuman Recognition Systems’ MSite™ Mobile platform interfaces with the OnGuard® access control system to enable the accurate verification of personnel identities and to control access to critical infrastructure across remote and multiple locations. MSite™ Mobile will also allow international oil companies and EPCs to conduct instant mobile mustering during health and safety incidents.

“Human Recognition Systems has completed required factory testing at Lenel to validate the functionality of its interface to OnGuard. MSite™ Mobile will provide a distributed and functional mobile capability as an extension to the OnGuard access control platform. The management of a workforce across complex, multi-zoned environments is now simpler and more cost effective, while providing key operational data to the core system,” said Gidon Lissai, director of strategic alliances, Lenel Systems. “We look forward to their continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.”

“MSite™ Mobile has been built using open standards architecture to allow for flexible interface with leading access control systems such as Lenel’s OnGuard,” states Neil Norman, Founder and Managing Director, New Markets at Human Recognition Systems. “This will allow a completely end-to-end and centralised, worker management and reporting application across the entire OnGuard estate, therefore helping to significantly reduce operational and administrative overheads. We welcome Lenel’s certification under its OpenAccess Alliance Program. “

MSite™ Mobile is a versatile, handheld identity registration platform using IP65 rated mobile devices to deliver robust, mobile workforce access-control capabilities in rugged, remote and challenging environments. It will automatically verify a worker’s identity, credentials and location on a site using smart card or biometric authentication and simultaneously delivers a streamlined process of recording and reporting on worker attendance, as well as on other critical workforce operational data. The instant mustering functionality also provides operators with the ability to enable rapid-response measures to incidents.
